Filmed June of 1948 in technicolor by Warner Brothers starring Edmond O’Brien & Robert Stack. Features P-47’s, “the Jugs”, using the Oscoda Army Air Base runway, a perfect site for mass take-offs and landings. Oscoda residents, including pilots, were used as extras. Rock Hudson appears in an uncredited screen debut. Color/96 min.
